Salutes

Salutes are available as star shells and single shot mines. Some multi-shot mines also contain salutes, or they can be added at your request.

Because they are an aerial effect, they have a delayed action.

Maroons

A maroon flash with a heavy steel firing shroud.

Maroons are the ground-based solution for loud single bangs. Sizes range from small gunshots to large outdoor-only items, and effects include flashes, glitter and concussion models. Cueing is more accurate than salutes, but if "synchronizing" with a visual effect the audience distance has to be taken into account thanks to the relatively slow speed at which sound travels.

Crackers are one of the most ancient and traditonal firework effects.
