We have excellent pyrotechnic, electronic, mechanical and woodwork shops, as well as plenty of room for us to make and test your spfx at our shop or our four test sites. Overhead crane, forklift, 5 tonne crane truck.

Pyrotechnic

Our spfx at Omaka

We make all our proximate pyrotechnics so quality and performance is under our direct control.

We make bullet hits, shell bursts, fireballs, AA air bursts, rocket trails, strafe runs and pyrotechnic models for air shows, stage performances, spfx and simulation.

Letter shells, spelling words as they explode in the sky are a new addition.

Electronic

Our full time electronic technician is skilled in prototyping and building electronic systems. Radio and direct wired firing systems. Addressable firing lines. Music (CD ROM or I-pod ) cued firing.

Optical

18 kW scenic projector

Xenon Arc searchlights with gobo projection systems. UV follow spots. Video camera adaptions for on body use.

Mechanical

We have two full time technicians who are skilled in welding, machining and wood structures. Cranes, helicopters and staging fitted for spfx display and launches.

Hydraulic

Underwater Concert

Hydraulic properties of water are combined with control mechanisms as in floods, underwater explosion simulations with compressed air, underwater fire, underwater sound.

Pneumatic

Controlling the firing of effect materials without using pyrotechnics. Nitrogen and Carbon Dioxide Cannons. Fan driven confetti. Pneumatic SPFX control.

Fire

LPG and hydrocarbon flames with control mechanisms. Coloured flames ( red, green, blue, yellow and white), hidden flame sources, remote ignition.
