Wheels
 A wheel or raddiena
Wheels, often called "Catherine wheels" or in Malta "Irdieden", are driven by slow burning rockets that take 20 seconds to a minute to burn.
Wheels on one hand are a fascinating toy, and on the other hand, often look quite pathetic being dwarfed by multishot mines, fans of roman candles, or a burst of star shells.
There must be a good reason for using wheels. Perhaps they are part of a slow building firework show especially one choreographed for children. Or they are part of a set piece such as the wheels on a truck, or wheels on a train, or even a helicopter.
We advise care in the choice of these and discussion with us as to the choreography.
