Girandolas
Silver Shining with Whistle Tail
These are an early type of firework, recently come back into well deserved fashion.
It is very exciting to use these, as they are so unexpected for the audience.
Girandolas consist of a circular framework with an axle socket at the centre, allowing the structure can spin horizontally on a vertical axis.
Rockets are attached around the rim of the wheel, pointing down but also at an angle to the vertical, so they both spin and lift the rim.
With a burning time of around three to five seconds, and sometimes fitted with stars when they finish, they are well worth while using firework shows provided you have the room.
