Smoke EffectsColoured SmokesColoured smoke on a bright day, against a blue sky is a glorious sight. Even on a dull day - provided it is fired at some height - it is a cheery sight. If there is strong wind, several smokes may need to be fired at once, to get sufficient smoke density. Coloured smoke is created via chemical means. So they can only be used outdoors - they are not suitable to breathe in spite of what you see in the movies and they can stain anything they touch badly. Do not fire coloured smokes next to a white or light coloured building, or where the smoke will blow onto the people and cars. Indoor SmokeMost of our indoor pyro products are as smoke-free as we can make them - this makes them much more pleasant to use. The only products designed to produce smoke in appreciable quantities are Stage Flashes and Air Bursts. The best means of obtaining easily controlled, non-irritant smoke and haze effects indoors are theatrical smoke machines and hazers. If you choose us to technically manage your event, this can be part of the package that we arrange for you. Also see Smoke Shells | ||||||||||
